Chemical Peel

A Chemical Peel treatment consists of a personalised chemical solution that is applied to the affected skin. We carefully curate this chemical solution to meet every patient’s unique demands. Your skin's condition and its needs will determine the strength of the solution. The main goal of this peel is to remove the top layer of skin, revealing softer, healthier skin underneath. While there can be slight redness immediately after the treatment, the affected skin heals after the recovery period. Along with having fewer wrinkles and lines, the new skin is also brighter and younger-looking.

Which skin issues call for a chemical peel?
Numerous skin conditions can benefit from this treatment, which also helps the affected skin's texture. We provide Chemical Peel procedures for the back, knees, elbows, neck, underarms, and face. This is because dryness and pigmentation are most prevalent in these areas. In addition, it can also help with:

  • Ageing skin, wrinkles, and fine lines around the eyes, mouth, or forehead
  • Skin affected by sun damage, sun spots, or freckles
  • Dull, tired, and rough skin
  • Skin conditions like Melasma and Rosacea
  • Acne, acne scars, and mild scars

Before we determine the strength and type of chemical peel, we work with you to curate the perfect blend of solutions for your skin. This depends on your medical history, allergies, and skin type.

Who should not get a chemical peel?
In cases of pregnancy or active acne, we will advise against certain chemical peeling procedures. Additionally, this treatment should not be used on patients who have psoriasis, keloids, pemphigus, or abnormal scarring.

The procedure for a chemical peel

  • Before beginning the procedure, we clean the skin and put gauze or goggles over your eyes. We administer anaesthesia to people receiving a deep peel.
  • After that, we apply the solution to the skin and wait the necessary amount of time. You can experience a slight stinging sensation during this time. A neutralising solution is used to clean the peel.
  • After the treatment, your skin may become slightly sensitive or red. Wearing sunscreen and refraining from picking at your skin is important. To keep the skin moisturised, apply a light moisturiser. Our expert team walks you through the process and outlines the aftercare schedule. You can wear makeup the next day after a light chemical peel. If you have any doubts or questions regarding the treatment, you can get in touch with us.
