Injectables
Injectables are one of the most widely used tools for enhancing features and treating skin issues. We inject Fillers or Botox around the problematic areas of the skin to treat sagginess, fine lines, and wrinkles. However, they can also be used to treat several complex skin conditions, like cervical dystonia and hyperhidrosis. We provide both Fillers and Botox treatments depending on the skin concern.
What are Injectables?
Injectables are both Botox and cosmetic Fillers that are injected into the skin to treat issues such as ageing and sagging skin. Normally, age or some health condition can result in the loss of collagen in the skin. It can lead to sunken or loose skin. In such cases, we use Botox and fillers with healing ingredients to improve the appearance of your skin.
Common ingredients used in injectables
Depending on the skin type, skin concern, and intensity of the skin condition, we choose the appropriate ingredient for your filler.
- Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)
These injectables with this ingredient are used to add volume to the skin. It contains collagen as well as small balls that help keep the skin firm and tight. - Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA)
CaHA fillers are used to treat deep wrinkles and sunken skin. It can also be used to contour various areas of the face. The results of this filler can last for up to a year. - Hyaluronic acid (HA)
This is a natural ingredient that your body creates to keep itself hydrated. However, the body's natural production of hyaluronic acid can slow with age. This component can be injected into the body to help treat wrinkles and fine lines. - Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA)
This injectable can give the skin structure and volume. Once the injectable is injected into the skin, it dissolves within a few days while triggering the body’s natural collagen production.
How does the injectable procedure go?
We ask for your medical history and any allergies before the treatment begins. Then the area is cleaned before we administer topical anaesthesia to prevent any discomfort during the treatment. We safely inject the filler into the target area. Normally, Botox and filler injections show immediate results.
Which side effects can you face?
You can experience mild redness or swelling after the treatment. However, with some aftercare procedures, it should go away in a few days. We do not recommend this treatment for pregnant women or people who are allergic to the ingredients.
