Follicular Unit Extraction

Hair Loss Treatment
Most of us take our hair for granted, just as we do our health and youth, until they're gone. A hair transplant can help many people regain lost hair. If you're concerned about finer hair or going bald, this procedure can help you feel more confident about your appearance. However, you should first speak with your doctor about what to expect before and after the procedure.

What is Hair Transplant?

Hair transplants work by removing hair that is actively growing and transferring it to parts of your scalp that are thinning or balding.
Hair is usually transferred from the back or side of the head to the front or top of the head by the surgeon.
Our team of doctors will conduct a thorough medical examination as well as a review of your medical history to determine if you are a candidate for a hair transplant. The majority of hair loss is caused by pattern baldness. Genetics plays a vital role in this. The remaining cases are the result of a variety of circumstances.
The benefits of a hair transplant include a more natural appearance and the fact that it is a long-term cure to baldness.

What is FUE ?
Individual hair follicles are extracted from your skin and implanted elsewhere on your body during a follicular unit extraction (FUE) hair transplant. The new area's hair will appear thicker as a result.

The "classic" follicular unit transplantation (FUT) procedure was intended to be replaced by FUE. This method involves transplanting a whole piece of skin or scalp, including follicles, to the target area. FUE technique is less likely to result in a "hair plug" look, when parts of skin or hair don't match the surrounding areas, FUE has grown more popular than FUT. It also does not leave a huge scar, as does FUT.Someone with thinning hair or balding who still has enough hair nearby to use for a transplant is the greatest candidate for a FUE hair transplant. If you don't have enough healthy or thick hair to transplant to the thinning or balding area, you may not be eligible for a FUE hair transplant.

HOW FUE HAIR TRANSPLANT WORKS
On the basis of your situation, we build a complete treatment plan at Richen Skin

Slit grafts and micrografts, commonly known as FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) or FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation), are two types of transplant techniques used for Hair transplant. Micrografts have 1 to 2 hairs per graft, whereas slit grafts have 4 to 10 hairs per graft. Your physician will make decisions depending on individual needs.
The treatment entails removing follicular hair units from a region with a higher hair density. Your scalp will have an incision that will be sewn up immediately after the treatment. To reduce pain and discomfort, we apply local anaesthetic.More hair follicles are extracted and then implanted on desired regions.Multiple sessions are needed for a hair transplant. The grafted hair takes 3 to 5 months to grow. These sections, when implanted, will aid in the growth of natural-looking hair.

Why you should choose hair transplant
Follicular Unit Extraction or FUE is a latest and advanced procedure that gives the result beyond one’s expectation.  The final result is as close as possible to natural hairstyles. In this procedure individual follicles are selected from the scalp and then it is transplanted to the bald sections of the head.
There are many benefits of having FUE Hair Transplant as it does not leave you with any linear scars. Also it has much less scarring, which is not prominently visible. You can resume your daily work without much delay as it takes less healing time
