Hair Platelet-rich plasma

If you are facing problems like hair loss, thinning hair, and pattern baldness. Then PRP is the safest non-surgical method of treating acute hair thinning and reversing balding.
What is Hair PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a medical procedure that has three steps. In this therapy, a person’s blood is drawn, processed, and injected into the scalp. According to some doctors, PRP injections actuate the natural growth of hair and maintain it by increasing the thickness of the hair shaft which is a part of the hair seen above the scalp, and increasing the blood supply to the hair follicle that is the funnel-shaped structure in the outer layer of the skin. Sometimes PRP injections are used in combination with medications and other hair loss treatment procedures too.
How Is PRP Done?
The procedure of PRP or platelet-rich plasma therapy for hair is not a complicated one and has a simple process. First, a licensed medical professional draws blood from the arm of the client and stores it in a sterile, airtight tube. After this a lab technician puts the tube in a centrifuge and spins it for at least 10 minutes to separate the red blood cells or RBCs. These red blood cells settle at the bottom of the tube, serum at the top layer, and platelets in the middle. Now, at last these platelets are drawn from the tube with the help of a syringe and the doctor injects it into the scalp wherever there is hair thinning and balding.
PRP Treatment is not for all!
PRP hair treatment procedures are not suitable for everyone. Heavy smokers are always advised not to go for this treatment. Also, those people diagnosed with medical disorders such as platelet dysfunction syndromes, thrombocytopenias, hypofibrinogenaemia, hemodynamic instability, sepsis, acute infections, chronic liver disease, and cancer should avoid PRP treatment because it might affect their overall health. Those people who are undergoing anticoagulation therapy and those on blood thinners are also advised not to opt for PRP treatment.
